Process analysis techniques supported by diagrams and process models have been used at least since the 1920s. While some of these techniques have become part of the standard repertoire of an information system analyst, others have been neglected or forgotten. In this talk, I will shed light on early techniques, such as described by Nordsieck, and trace the development of those fields that today are known as business process management and visual analytics. Based on a comparison of these fields, I identify potential synergies that can inspire innovations and future research directions for visual process analytics.

**COLING**, the International Conference on Computational Linguistics, is one of the premier conferences for the natural language processing and computational linguistics.

First established in 1965, the biennial COLING conference is held in diverse parts of the globe and attracts participants from both top-ranked research centers and emerging countries. Today, the most important developments in our field are taking place not only in universities and academic research institutes but also in industrial research departments including tech-startups. COLING provides opportunities for all these communities to showcase their exciting discovery.

In fall of 2022, COLING will be held in Gyeongju in a hybrid format. All participants can either present at the venue site or join virtually. As more people get vaccinated, we are happy to provide safer environments for our colleagues. We believe that COLING 2022 will be one of the conferences, free from the pandemic. The hybrid format gives presenters and sponsors a valuable opportunity to promote their companies in both an online and in-person venue. For the first time in a long time, customers can interact with their sponsor's products first-hand. The online venue, too, gives sponsors the chance to network with those unable to attend the in-person session.

We live in a fast-paced and interconnected world, in which different focuses in businesses are related and dependent on each other. Four emerging areas of business: Finance, Economics, Management and IT Business (FEMIB) are essential for each country, organization, society and individual as follows. Finance is important to the individual, corporate and national wealth, profits and long-term future. Economics can help us understand how the past and current status of the regional, national and global financial performance. Management allows organizations, governments, decision-makers to make their projects and services more structured, efficient, productive and competitive. IT business stands for new trends of development, opportunities and innovation. We believe that only doing well in these four areas, this can ensure each organization, decision-maker, investor, government and country to achieve long-term success and collaboration. Our aim and objective are to bring scientists, practitioners and decision-makers of these four areas together to foster a strong and well-connected community. We welcome innovative ideas, concepts, services, techniques, research outputs and business practices.

Our aim and objective are to bring scientists, practitioners and decision-makers of these four areas together to foster a strong and well-connected community. We welcome innovative ideas, concepts, services, techniques, research outputs and business practices.

We consider whether traders are more likely to commit securities violations when trading at home, a new form of working induced by the Covid pandemic. We examine data pre- and post-Covid, during which some traders were unexpectedly forced to work at home. The data indicate the presence of both a treatment and a selection effect, such that those working at home exhibit fewer misconduct cases. Work at home is associated with fewer cases of trading misconduct, although no difference in communications misconduct. The economic significance of working from home on trading misconduct is large for both the treatment and selection effects.

Covid, Work-from-Home, and Securities Misconduct

This presentation aims to explore and understand the digital divide in older adults when accepting and using smart devices within an organization. Using an in-depth single case study, the digital divide is explored and understood using technology-mediated learning for older adults when using smart devices; ie. tablet devices. The case study is based on a group of educated, older Indian adult volunteers at a local Punjabi radio station. A qualitative approach used the data collection techniques of interviews, observations, informal conversations and reference to archival documents and interpretivism for analysis. Our findings revealed that older adults with ailments have shorter lives, contrary to popular perception, can be very active in their communities, are able to use basic IT and are willing to use technology when it leads to significant tangible or intangible benefits without considering the remaining time of their lives. Contributions for policymakers and industry are also offered in this presentation.
