Decontamination of imaging suites is a vital part of maintaining patient and staff safety. This webinar features Mr. John LaRochelle, a 30-year veteran of managing and implementing environmental infection prevention strategies in healthcare facilities around the world.  In addition, Dr. Riccardo Manfredi from the Department of Radiology at the Policlinico Universitario Agostino Gemelli in Rome, Italy will provide the perspective of the radiologist and the decontamination practices put in place at his institution, which was one of the primary hospitals for COVID positive patients in Rome.

This presentation will provide an update of short- and long-term outcomes of the EP-Guided Noninvasive Cardiac Radioablation (ENCORE-VT) Phase I/II trial, as well as toxicities that have been encountered to date. Additionally there will be a special focus on the workflow for these cases, including patient identification, simulation, target localization, and treatment planning. We will also present future research directions for noninvasive cardiac radioablation.

A substantial proportion of patients with severe COVID-19 present with coagulation abnormalities which may lead to venous and arterial thromboembolic complications, which, if not properly prevented and/or timely detected can be associated with an increased risk of fatal outcome. This webinar is aimed at summarizing the characteristics of COVID-19 coagulation disorders, the laboratory and clinical findings in affected patients, and the role of the radiologist in the rapid recognition of pulmonary embolism which may properly direct patient management.

COVID-19: Imaging of Thromboembolic Complications

In this Expert Forum Webinar we'll discuss the added value Digital PET/CT is providing physicians at Saint Louis University.  Dr. Medhat Osman will cover the limitations of current PET technologies, the benefits of digital photon counting, and the impact digital technology is having on enhancing workflow and reducing radiation dose. Attendees will have a clearer understanding of the potential benefits dynamic PET imaging offers imaging professionals and their patients.

The Added Value of Digital PET/CT: The SLU Experience

This webinar will present a comprehensive review of image findings of varying clinical presentations relating to cardiovascular, abdominal, and neurological findings, resulting from COVID positive cases. Dr. Marco Francone, an Associate Professor of Radiology at Sapienza University of Rome will share his experience with imaging cardiac complications found in COVID-19 patients; while Dr. Jeffrey Hellinger, a Diagnostic Radiologist at Lenox Hill Radiology in New York City will review imaging of other complications seen with COVID-19 patients.
