SHORT BIO
Levin Brinkmann is a Research Scientist at the Center for Humans and Machines at the Max Planck Institute for Human Development. His research integrates methods from complex systems, machine learning, and experimental social science to study human-machine interactions. Levin conducts controlled experiments to explore the transmission of behaviors between machines and humans, as well as cultural evolution in the era of generative AI. Driven by a passion for advancing AI, Levin seeks to harness insights from collective intelligence and cultural evolution to develop prosocial and innovative AI ecosystems.
