SHORT BIO
Andrew Whiten FRSE FBA is Wardlaw Professor Psychology at the University of St Andrews in Scotland, UK. Over the last thirty years he has published studies of social learning and cultural transmission in children, human adults and non-human primates, the latter spanning several species of both apes and monkeys, and cultural transmission experiments conducted with captive populations and in the wild.
