SHORT BIO
Born in Bilbao (Spain), 1968. Associate professor in the department of Economic Analysis of the Universidad de Zaragoza (Spain) since 2007. Previously lecturer in the Universidad de Murcia, Universidad Pablo de Olavide de Sevilla, The Queen's University of Belfast, Universitat Pompeu Fabra and Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona I shifted my initial research interests from social choice theory and other applications of game theory and mathematical economics to evolutionary theory. I started to attend the HBES meetings interested in the evolution of altruism and I am now developing theoretical models on the evolution of cooperation, fiction, religion and other cultural traits as well as language.
