SHORT BIO
Kris (@kris_m_smith) is a postdoc at Washington State University studying long distance relationships and natural resource management in Tanzania. He received his PhD in Psychology from the University of Pennsylvania in 2019, where he also completed a two-year postdoc in the Social Behavioral Science Initiative. Broadly, his research interests are on the evolutionary and cultural origins of human cooperation and morality. He also works with the Hadza hunter-gatherers of Tanzania, studying how they maintain group cooperation and what traits they prefer in potential social partners.
