SHORT BIO
Rujun Han is a graduating computer science Ph.D. candidate at the University of Southern California, advised by Prof. Nanyun Peng and Prof. Aram Galstyan at the Information Sciences Institute. Rujun works on natural language processing, and his research projects create novel machine learning models for event-centric reasoning with applications in information extraction, question answering, and language generation. He has first/co-authored more than 10 papers that were published at top NLP/AI conferences. Prior to joining USC as a Ph.D. student, Rujun worked at the Federal Reserve and Commonwealth Bank of Australia as a statistical researcher and a data scientist for more than three years. While working full-time, he obtained his Masters' degree at NYU Center for Data Science.
