John Hewitt is a 4th year PhD student in computer science at Stanford University. His research characterizes, uses, and extends the knowledge in neural networks trained on human language data, towards the goals of increasing humans' access to information and their ability to communicate with each other. He is advised by Chris Manning and Percy Liang.
