I am a retired associate professor of science education at Oregon State University where I designed and taught a physics course for prospective elementary and middle school teachers. My research includes exploring student and teacher questioning during conversations about science. I also collaborate with K12 teachers and college faculty interested in inquiring into their own teaching practices and students' learning.
