SHORT BIO
Bill is a Ph.D. Candidate studying NLP at UCSD. He is advised by Jingbo Shang. His research interests lie in extracting structured knowledge from unstructured data using minimal supervision. Recently, he constructed an NLP pipeline to automatically extract linking relationships between bacteria and diseases from biomedical texts. Bill is passionate about using his skills to improve people's lives everywhere.
