SHORT BIO

Jiaao Chen is a 5th-year PhD student working with Diyi Yang in the School of Interactive Computing at Georgia Tech. He is also currently a visiting researcher at Stanford University. He is generally interested in Natural Language Processing and Machine Learning. His research has been focused on developing Efficient and Adaptive Machine Learning for NLP across the following aspects: (i) improving data efficiency, (ii) incorporating structured information, (iii) improving training efficiency and (iv) improving generalization and composition abilities. He has published over 25 papers in top conferences and journals such as ACL, EMNLP, NAACL, ICLR, AAAI, SIGIR, TACL and CL.
