SHORT BIO

Chao Wang is currently an assistant professor in the School of Electrical, Computer & Energy Engineering (ECEE) at ASU. He is also affiliated with the Biodesign Center for Molecular Design & Biomimetics at ASU. Prior to joining ASU, he was a postdoctoral research scientist at IBM T.J. Watson research center from 2012 to 2015. He obtained his Ph.D. degree in Jan 2012 from Princeton University on nanotechnology. Currently, Prof. Wang works to bridge the nanoscience and biotechnology in research. His primary research interests include nanofabrication, 3D printing, nanophotonics, and biosensing. He is also a NSF CAREER award recipient in 2019.
