SHORT BIO
Prof. José M. De Teresa leads the group of Nanofabrication and Advanced Microscopies (NANOMIDAS) at Instituto de Nanociencia y Materiales de Aragon (CSIC-University of Zaragoza, Spain) and the FIB-SEM area in the Spanish National facility for Advanced Microscopies located at Zaragoza. He is the coordinator of the Spanish network on Nanolithography (NANOLITO) and is the Chair of the Condensed Matter Division in the European Physical Society. His main research interest is the nanofabrication with focused electron and ion beams, including its application to functional materials and devices: metallic structures, magnetic nanostructures, nano-superconductors, new materials, etc. He has published more than 200 research articles (h factor=46), given more than 80 invited conferences, and supervised 15 PhD thesis.
