Sven Dressler is a Civil Engineer who graduated from the University of Pretoria in 2020 with Masters Degree with a thesis titled: “Simulation of Fibre Pull-out Using a Graphics Processing Unit Accelerated Discrete Element Model.” At present Sven works in the field of mine closure focussing on new ways to model and design landforms while leveraging modern computing approaches such as GPU computing.
