SHORT BIO
I am a Civil Engineer from Los Andes University (Colombia) with a masters degree in Geotechnics from the same university. I did my PhD thesis at LMGC (Montpellier) on the subject of DEM simulation of dynamic particle breakage in the framework of a collaboration between CEA, INRA and CNRS. Under the direction of Farhang Radjai and Jean-Yves Delenne I successfully completed and defended the thesis in 2019. Afterwards, I held a one year position as a research and teaching assistant at University of Montpellier. Currently I am a postdoctoral researcher at Group of Research and Applied Statistical Physics (GRASP) at University of Liège working in a multi-disciplinary project for the study of the effect of particle microstructure on the performance of inhalation powder.
