SHORT BIO
Galan Moody joined the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department at UCSB as an assistant professor in 2019. His received his BSc and PhD degrees from the University of Colorado-Boulder in 2008 and 2013, after which he was a postdoctoral associate at the University of Texas-Austin (2013) and a National Research Council Fellow at the National Institute of Standards and Technology in Boulder, Colorado (2013-2019). He currently directs the Quantum Photonics Lab at UCSB and is a recent recipient of the U.S. AFOSR Young Investigator Award and an NSF CAREER award.
