Claire Schneider is a senior pursuing a major in Architectural Studies with a minor in Psychology and a certificate in Sustainability. Claire believes that sustainability and design are not only important when developing a better future but are also crucial when paired with research to help create science based effective design solutions. She is the team leader for the University of Missouri in the international design competition with the Department of Energy, the Solar Decathlon, and has currently made it to the top 10 in the Mix-Use Multi Family Division. Claire received the Timothy R. Donoghue Graduate scholarship and intends to pursue a master’s degree in landscape architecture at Kansas State University.
