SHORT BIO
Kristin Kellar is a third-year graduate student at the University of Washington. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Physics at Abilene Christian University as well as her Master of Education in Teaching and Learning. Kristin taught middle and high school science for four years at Talkington School for Young Women Leaders in Lubbock, Texas. At the University of Washington, she has earned her Master of Science in Physics and is pursuing her PhD. Kristin works with Dr. Paula Heron on physics education research associated with dual process theories of reasoning to better understand student reasoning in physics and to develop interventions to help students recognize and overcome reasoning inconsistencies.
