PERSONAL STATEMENT During the last 10 years, my carrier was focused to the implementation of a translational research in the field of neurotechnologies. Our lab is a unique translational technology lab associating neurosurgeons, biologists, and technologists in the context of BrainTech innovation and first in man proof of concept. In the continuation of the pioneering neurostimulation research done in Grenoble, we developed an innovative “BrainPrint” technology that give access to inaccessible brain territories in a spatial and molecular-investigations compatible way. This BrainPrint technology involves micro-nano-chemically modified silicon. This technology is unique, patented at the international level and was validated this year in a proof of concept trial in human glioblastoma supported by the “French-NCI” (INCA). An European grant was obtained to move this in the field of neurodegenerative diseases using a second-generation device (Eranet Brainomics). This delineate a new biomedical procedure to explore inaccessible territories paving the way for precision medicine and targeted therapies in neurodegenerative diseases and to renovate targeted therapies in oncology. Beside and in synergy with this innovative technology that is now validated, we develop innovative therapeutic strategies involving local delivery and physical modulation of the brain microenvironment. Coordinator of several medtech trial. Research area: neuro-oncology, neurosciences, biomarkers, nanomedicine
