SHORT BIO
Mamoru Matsuo graduated with a Ph.D. in hadron physics from the University of Tokyo in 2008. After that, he changed his research field to spintronics. He is an associate professor at the Kavli Institute for Theoretical Sciences, University of Chinese Academy of Sciences. He is interested in spin transport phenomena driven by unconventional coupling originating from non-Riemannian structures of condensed matter such as spin-vorticity coupling.
