SHORT BIO
Siavash Pakdelian (S’11–M’16) received the B.Sc. degree from Sharif University of Technology, Tehran, Iran, in 2003, the M.Sc. degree from University of Tehran, Iran, in 2006, and the Ph.D. degree from Texas A&M University, College Station, in 2014, all in electrical power engineering. He then joined the Electrical Engineering Department of the University of Illinois at Chicago as a Research Assistant Professor. Dr. Pakdelian is currently an Assistant Professor with the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department, University of Massachusetts Lowell. His research interests include analysis, design, control, and fault diagnosis of electro-mechanical energy conversion systems .
