SHORT BIO
S. M. Sajjad Hossain Rafin received his M.Sc. degree in Electronic Systems Engineering in 2014 from Hanyang University, South Korea. During his M.Sc. study, he also worked as a research assistant at Energy Conversion Systems Lab. After his M.Sc. graduation, he started working as a full-time researcher during 2014-15 at the Industry-University Cooperation Foundation, Hanyang University, South Korea. Apart from being an academic, he worked as an electrical engineering consultant for Reed Consulting Bangladesh Ltd., where he played a major part in two World Bank, IFC-SEDF projects. Later, he worked at APLOS Global ltd. as an electrical engineering consultant and project manager. Currently, he is working as a senior lecturer in the department of electrical and electronic engineering at Northern University Bangladesh. His major area of interest is in the emerging discipline of ac machine design and power electronics especially as applied to variable speed operation of ac machines using different circuit topologies.
