SHORT BIO
Gilbert Santiago Cañón Bermúdez graduated with a Bsc. In Electronics Engineering from the Universidad de los Andes in Colombia. He then received an Msc. in Nanobiophysiscs and Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from The Technische Universität Dresden in Germany. He is currently leading the flexible magnetoelectronics group at the Helmholtz-Zentrum Dresden-Rossendorf in the department of Intelligent Materials and Systems. He has been previously a researcher at the Leibniz Institute for Solid State and Materials Science (IFW) and the Biotechnology Center (BIOTEC) in Dresden.
