SHORT BIO
Can Yesilyurt received his Bachelor of Computer Engineering degree and Information Science degree (double major) in 2012 from Okan University in Turkey. During the last years of his undergraduate education, we worked on multi partite quantum entangled states. Then, he was awarded with the Research Scholarship by National University of Singapore (NUS) and joined the Computational Nanoelectronics & Nanodevices Laboratory for his PhD studies. His doctoral research focused on tunnelling transport in Dirac & Weyl semimetals. In 2019, he joined the Opto-Nanoelectronics Laboratories at Istanbul University as a postdoctoral fellow, and is working on condensed matter applications based on experimental quantum transport.
