Dr. Planer is a Senior Scientist at BAE Systems Fast Labs focusing on advancing ML and AI systems. He currently supports the DARPA CAML program as T&E lead and algorithm developer. He has also worked developing deep learning models, algorithms for causal model generation, text summarization models, and algorithms for system optimization. He earned his PhD in particle physics focusing on advanced hardware and algorithm development that helped discover the Higgs Boson.
