Paul Spaur has a wide and diverse background including 10 years as a First Responder, and then 8 years in 3D Mapping and Virtual / Augmented Realty fields. He started his career in mapping and 3D scanning while running an environmental science research laboratory at California State University (Channel Islands), using drones (aerial and submarine), digital images, and laser scanners to make reconstructions of coastal zones. He began to work and with large organizations including NOAA, US Navy, USACE, Intel Corporation, Olympics and more. He now operates the Spaur Group, a 3D mapping, training, consultation, and services company. The Spaur Group is a reseller of Reality Capture software.
