SHORT BIO
Dr. Kenneth Henry Chan, Research Scientist, Optoelectronics, has experience in AR/VR HMD, optoelectronics, optical imaging, system integration, and image/data processing. During his graduate studies, he investigated novel nondestructive and minimally invasive imaging techniques to empower laser therapy systems to perform automated surgical treatments. Currently, at Intellisense, he is developing a see-through, high-resolution, full-color augmented reality (AR) head-up display (HUD) system for the Army and an underwater wide-angle AR head-mounted display (HMD) for the Navy. He has experience in MATLAB®, LabVIEW®, SOLIDWORKS®, Python, C++, ImageJ, IgorPro, Prism®, CNC machining, and 3D printing. He has authored/coauthored over 50 publications.
