SHORT BIO
I am a computer science and computational neuroscience expert with a BSc, MSc, and PhD in these fields. Together with Bahram Zonooz, I co-direct the NeurAI Lab, which develops Neuro-Inspired AI models capable of learning efficiently from multiple tasks. Our research focuses on deep learning, inspired by brain function and learning, with a focus on continual learning, self-supervised learning, and meta-learning. Our primary goal is to conduct fundamental research in these areas to better understand how AI can learn and adapt like the human brain. Additionally, we are also establishing a research lab at Eindhoven University of Technology to supervise PhD/master students working at the intersection of neuroscience and artificial intelligence.
