SHORT BIO
Deepak Gupta is currently a postdoctoral researcher at the Qualcomm-University of Amsterdam (QUVA) Lab in Netherlands working on research problems at the intersection of deep learning and computer vision. Earlier to this, he worked as a Research Scientist at Royal Dutch Shell exploring the application of machine learning for mathematical imaging problems. Deepak completed his BS+MS in Geophysics from Indian Institute of Technology (ISM Dhanbad) in India in 2013 and PhD in Computational Science from Delft University of Technology in Netherlands in 2017. His research interests span across fundamental aspects of deep learning and computer vision, as well as their applications in the domain of computational science and engineering.
