SHORT BIO

Corentin Henry (DLR) received the B.Sc. in Engineering Science degree in 2015 and the M.Sc. degree in Computer Science in 2017 from the Engineering School ISEN in Lille, France. Since 2017 he has been working as a PhD student at the Remote Sensing Technology Institute (IMF) of the German Aerospace Center (DLR) in Oberpfaffenhofen, Germany. His research topic is the extraction of road networks in aerial and satellite imagery and focuses specifically on the training of deep neural networks using inaccurate reference data, so-called noisy labels, and the automated generation and improvement of reference data in high-definition maps format. He is involved in projects covering the fields of urban monitoring for autonomous driving and humanitarian support for post-disaster relief missions through providing up-to-date information on road topology and accessibility.
