SHORT BIO
Dr. Gibran Benitez-Garcia received his B.S. and M.S. degrees from the Mechanical Engineering School of the National Polytechnic Institute, Mexico City in 2011 and 2014, respectively. He received his Ph.D. degree from the University of Electro-Communications (UEC), Japan in 2017. From 2017 to 2019, he was a postdoctoral fellow in the IIM Laboratory at Toyota Technological Institute in Nagoya, Japan. He is currently a project researcher in the Interaction Group at Omron Sinic X, as well as a postdoctoral fellow in Yanai Laboratory at UEC in Tokyo, Japan.
