SHORT BIO
Dr. Ujjwal Bhattacharya is currently an Associate Professor of Indian Statistical Institute and is primarily engaged in research and teaching activities. Dr. Bhattacharya is a senior member of the IEEE and a life member of the IUPRAI, an Indian Unit affiliated to the International Association for Pattern Recognition (IAPR). The focus of his current research interest is applications of Machine Learning in the areas of Computer Vision, Image Processing, Document Analysis, Online/Offline Handwriting Analysis, etc. He had served as a PC member or Organizing Chair in a number of reputed International Conferences and Workshops. Also, he is a regular reviewer of various International Journals. Earlier he had collaborations with various Research Labs and Institutions of repute.
