SHORT BIO

Daiki Kimura is currently a Research Scientist at IBM Research. He is researching about deep methods for computer vision and robotics. He received his B.Eng., M.Eng., and D.Eng. from Tokyo Institute of Technology in 2011, 2012, and 2015. During the period, he was also a Research Fellow of Japan Society for the Promotion of Science (JSPS), and a Research Assistant at the university. And he joined Research Internships at Microsoft Research Asia (MSRA) in Beijing, and Fachhochschule Nordwestschweiz (FHNW, University) in Switzerland. Then he was a Research Scientist at Rakuten Institute of Technology (RIT) from 2015. He joined IBM Research in 2016. He recieved Best Paper Award, Outstanding Young Researcher Award, Audience Award, Best Demonstration Award, and so on.
