Dr. Mohapatra is a Research Assistant Professor in the Department of Physics at the University of Texas-Arlington (UTA). He obtained his Ph.D. in Nanoscience and Technology from the Indian Institute of Technology Bombay, India. After two years of Postdoctoral work at UTA, he was promoted to a Research Assistant Professor in 2018. Dr. Mohapatra’s research interests are developing advanced nanostructured materials for a broad range of applications, including permanent magnets, energy conversion materials, electrochemical catalysts, wastewater treatment, and biomedical applications.
