SHORT BIO
I am Tanjina Nasreen Ahmed, a Doctoral Student in the Materials Science, Engineering, and Commercialization (MSEC) program at Texas State University. I am an international student from Bangladesh. I did my Bachelor's and Master’s in Physics from the University of Dhaka, Bangladesh, and my second Master’s in Physics from Western Illinois University, IL, USA. I joined Texas State in Fall 2018 as a Ph.D. student and currently working under the supervision of Dr. Wilhelmus Geerts. I am studying the properties of magnetic filament composites manufactured through Twin Screw extrusion for Fused filament fabrication (FFF) purposes and analyzing their properties of those 3D printed samples with Vibrating Sample Magnetometer (VSM), Jeol Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM), Optical microscope, and X-ray Diffraction (XRD). During my leisure time, I love to read novels, doing acrylic paintings, and playing the piano.
