SHORT BIO

Rolf Ernst is a professor at TU Braunschweig, Germany, where he chairs the Institute of Computer and Network Engineering. His research activities include embedded system design and cyber-physical systems, with a focus on critical systems, such as in automotive and avionics systems. He is an IEEE Fellow and a member of the German National Academy of Science and Engineering, acatech. He received the EDAA Achievement Award 2014.
