SHORT BIO
Hiromi Yuasa received master degree and PhD in physics from Keio University in 1998 and in 2009, respectively. She has been working for Toshiba corporation since 1998, where she has been engaged in research and development activities in the field of Spintronics for hard disk drives and authored 185 registered patents and 288 patent applications. She moved to Kyushu University as a Professor in 2015. Her current interests are the spin Seebeck devices and the spin torque in the artificial magnetic structures.
