SHORT BIO

I am a PhD Student at French National Center for Scientific Research (CNRS), at UMR MARine Biodiversity, Exploitation and Conservation (MARBEC - UM, IRD, IFREMER, INRAE, CNRS), in the south of France.

My PhD research focuses on the "Robustness of European sea bass Dicentrarchus labrax populations to temperature and extreme climatic events". I work on three natural populations of seabass (Atlantic, Western and Eastern Mediterranean) reared in common garden in their own thermal regime, in FishNess project. I investigate robustness comparing the populations with Thermal Performance Curves (TPC) for Aerobic Scope (AS), behavior in a new environment at different temperature and metabolism when exposed to acute (CTSmax) or prolonged Marine Heatwaves (MHWs).
