SHORT BIO
Visiting Ph.D. student at MIT, Ph.D. student at the Foundations of Language Processing research group at Umeå University. I will be a full-time Visiting Assistant in Research at Yale University under Robert Frank and Dana Angluin. I was a PhD Research Intern at AI2 on the Aristo team in Seattle; my mentor was Ashish Sabharwal.
I want to make modern neural network architectures more interpretable and transparent via the means of formal language theory, to better understand the capabilities and expressiveness of language models.
My research interest lies in formal language theory and natural language processing and its intersections.
I am hosting and organizing the FLaNN seminars (an online series on Formal Languages and Neural Networks).
