SHORT BIO
My name is Adriano Di Pietro and I'm a PhD student located in Italy (Torino). I am part of a broader international training network associated to a Horizon 2020 project called MagnEFi (https://magnefi.c2n.u-psud.fr/). My research primarily focuses on the study of electric field effects on magnetic interface phenomena. I work mainly with theory and simulations, trying to investigate the microscopic mechanism governing voltage controlled magnetic anisotropy and DMI. Although I am originally from Italy, I grew up in Japan and (mainly) Germany, In oartcular, I studied physics at the LMU in munich.
