SHORT BIO
Analia Zwick is an Argentinean Researcher of CONICET at the Bariloche Atomic Center. She accomplished a PhD in Physics with expertise in quantum physics with extended collaborations and research stays in Germany as a DAAD fellow, and postdoctoral training at the Weizmann Institute of Science (Israel). She has developed optimal control strategies for robust quantum state transfer and for efficient quantum sensing in biological and medical applications. In 2017 she co-founded the Laboratory of Nuclear Magnetic Resonance Spectroscopy and Imaging (MRI), where her contributions in quantum sensing promise to help push the resolution limits of MRI to open new avenues towards unraveling diagnostic information by non-invasive deep tissue imaging. In 2018, she received the L’Oreal - UNESCO award as an Honorable Mention for young Women in Science among all the research fields in Argentina. http://fisica.cab.cnea.gov.ar/nmrsi/index.php/en/
