SHORT BIO
Garrett Nicolai is an Assistant Professor of Teaching at the University of British Columbia, as part of the Master of Data Science in Computational Linguistics team. He is also the president of the SIGMORPHON special interest group on Computational Morphology and Phonology. His research interests include low-resource languages, morphology, neural interpretability, and machine translation.
