SHORT BIO
I obtained my PhD from Institute of Computer Science, Polish Academy of Sciences (ICS PAS) in 2015 based on work in Natural Language Processing (NLP), especially question answering and information retrieval. Afterwards, I was at the National Centre for Text Mining at the University of Manchester as a research associate and research fellow, focusing on challenges in biomedical NLP, such as semantic search, health record analysis and accelerating systematic reviews. Since 2019, I'm back at ICS PAS, leading the HOMADOS project (https://homados.ipipan.waw.pl/), aiming to tackle problems related to misinformation, including credibility analysis and bot detection.
