Professor Ana Marušić, MD, PhD ORCiD: https://orcid.org/0000-0001-6272-0917 Ana Marušić is Professor of Anatomy and Chair of the Department of Research in Biomedicine and Health at the University of Split School of Medicine, Split, Croatia. She is an Honorary Professor at the University of Edinburgh in the UK. She is the Co-Editor in Chief of the Journal of Global Health. Prof. Marušić is on the Steering Group of the EQUATOR Network and is the Co-Chair of the Cochrane Scientific Committee. Prof. Marušić was the President of the European Association of Science Editors (EASE), Council of Science Editors (CSE), and World Association of Medical Editors (WAME) and a member of the International Committee of Medical Journal Editors (ICMJE). She currently serves on the Council of the Publication Ethics (COPE). Prof. Marušić has more than 200 peer-reviewed articles and was heavily involved with creating the policy of mandatory registration of clinical trials in public registries which helped change the legal regulation of clinical trials worldwide.
