SHORT BIO
Uriel Martinez-Hernandez received the PhD degree from the Department of Automatic Control and Systems Engineering, University of Sheffield, Sheffield, U.K., in 2015. He is currently a Lecturer (Assistant Professor) in Robotics at the Department of Electronics and Electrical Engineering, and the Centre for Autonomous Robotics (CENTAUR), University of Bath, U.K. His research interests include active sensing and perception with touch and vision, wearable assistive robotics, intent recognition and machine learning for autonomous robots and human-robot interaction.
