SHORT BIO
Samuele Vinanzi is a Computer Science engineer from Italy. He has completed both his Bachelor's and Master's studies in Palermo, where he specialized in artificial intelligence and robotics, working to integrate a humanoid robot in a live orchestra. After obtaining his degrees he moved to Plymouth, UK, to begin his PhD in Cognitive Robotics with prof. Angelo Cangelosi and dr. Christian Goerick, funded by Honda Research Institute. His research group and project eventually moved to The University of Manchester, to which he is currently affiliated. His research project aims at advancing the scientific understanding of trust and intention reading in the interaction of humans and machines using a developmental robotics approach.
