Jhelum Chakravorty is a Postdoctoral Researcher in the Department of Computer Science at McGill University, Montreal, Canada. She obtained PhD degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering at McGill University in 2017. She received the B.E. degree in Electrical Engineering from Jadavpur University, India in 2007 and M.Tech degree in Systems and Control Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay in 2010. Prior to the doctoral study, she worked as a research assistant at Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay during 2007--2008, and as a research associate at Indian Institute of Science during 2010--2011. Her current area of research is reinforcement learning, decentralized stochastic control, information theory and real-time communication.
