Andrew Padgett earned his BS in Physics at Michigan State University, Masters in Physics at University of Florida, and Ph.D. in Physics, with an emphasis on Condensed Matter, at University of Flroida. He was a postdoc at Sandia National Laboratories before becoming a Senior Member of Staff in 2021. His Doctoral research focused on frustrated magnetic ground states, and his work at Sandia National Laboratories focuses on novel magnetic materials and their applications.
