SHORT BIO

Paola Tiberto attended from 1990 to 1993 a Ph.D course in experimental physics held by the Physics Department of Torino Politecnico. She is working at the National Institute for Metrological Research, INRIM) as a senior researcher. Presently, she is the head of the Advanced Materials Metrology and Life science Division. The National Institute for Metrological Research (INRIM) focuses on studying metrology (measurement sciences), and on conducting research on materials, as well as on developing innovative technologies and devices. In the frame of her scientific activity focused on magnetic materials she is author of more than 240 scientific papers published in International, peer-reviewed Journals in the field of magnetism. She serves as Editor in the journal of Materials Chemistry and Physics from Elsevier (https://www.journals.elsevier.com/materials-chemistry-and-physics/editorial-board/paola-tiberto). She acted as the chair of scientific conferences (ISMANAM 2013, EMSA 2016,IEEE-Advances on Magnetism 2018 ) and has participated to committees and advisory boards of conferences. She delivered several invited at scientific conferences on magnetism and magnetic materials. At present, she is President of the Italian Association for magnetism and member of the IEEE-Magnetics society Italy section. She has been responsible of several research projects (i.e. national as MIUR funding and EU in H2020) mainly focused on magneto-electric properties of magnetic materials.
