SHORT BIO

Tianyi Zhang is a third-year Ph.D. student in Electrical Engineering at the University of Minnesota under the supervision of Prof. Kevin. His research focuses on computer vision algorithms, especially about vision transformers and generative models like diffusion models. By optimizing these network structures for specific purposes, he explores how to improve the performance of common computer vision tasks, like object detection, image segmentation super-resolution, and so on.
